Nancy came to Cherry Valley UMC in 2005 after a 3-year term as the Human Resource Director for the City of Belvidere.  Prior to that, Nancy had an active duty career in the Illinois Air National Guard, a component of the United States Air Force, where she served in various areas of Human Resources.

Nancy has lived in and around the Chicago area since 1965, moving to Belvidere in 1995.  She graduated from East Prairie High School in East Prairie, Missouri and attended Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago, with a focus in liberal arts.

She is married and has 5 children and 7 grandchildren.  Some of Nancy’s interests include spending time with her family, making handmade greeting cards, doing crossword and jigsaw puzzles, riding her bike in the summer, gardening, reading, computer graphic design, and watching British programs on the “telly.”
